Kingsport's Allandale Mansion, a classic example of Georgian architecture, was built in 1950 by Ruth and Harvey Brooks and willed to the City of Kingsport in 1969. Since 1983, the house and grounds have been an exciting part of Kingsport's civic and social life. The mansion's easy access to points of interest and leisure activities in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia makes it a favorite spot for elegant weddings and receptions, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners.
