Step back in time to the earliest beginnings of Toronto by visiting Fort York
and viewing the period demonstrations put on by its costumed staff. While the
original garrison was built in 1793, most of those buildings were destroyed in
the War of 1812 and replaced by the existing buildings in 1813.
