The Windsor-Detroit International Freedom Festival is recognized and
respected as the best Festival that represents the peace, unity, freedom, and
friendship shared between Canada and the United States. The festival
combines Independence Day (U.S.) and Canada Day (Canada) and lasts several
weeks, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display over the Detroit River.
