Maligne Lake, the largest in Jasper National Park (22 km), is the locale of the world-famous Canadian Rockies landmark - Spirit Island.  In addition, as Jasper’s oldest attraction, Maligne Lake is a popular day-use area, and the jumping-off point for boat trips and hiking trails.
