Bow Lake

Bow Lake, Alberta Picture Postcard

Click here for travel and tourism information

Bow Lake is nestled in the northern regions of Banff National Park and collects the melt-off from Bow Glacier.  Bow Lake is especially beautiful at dawn when it is as still as glass and during autumn when the larch needles change colour, causing the surrounding mountains to appear as if they are wrapped with thin golden ribbons.
